Try buying a small section of mast from
Dwyer Aluminum Mast Company- Manufacturers of Quality Sailboat Masts, Booms, Hardware and Rigging Since 1963.

Use a jigsaw to cut away the track section and pop-rivet or screw it the mast.

Send to section to me if you want to buy a Snap-Gate fitted to it.

I had a look at Dwyers page, none of the sections there match mine. My mast is a basic oval with a flat backside and the slide track is extruded on the external surface. But you've given me an idea and I know who built the mast in the first place so I'll give him a call.
