Meissner Winches

I am attempting to disassemble a Meissner winch but am defeated. Winch dates pobably late 80s early 90s and has 18ST stamped on top plate. There is no sign of any allen key hole and It will be difficult to access from the base. Any suggestions?

Re: Meissner Winches

The standard (non ST) Meissner winches disassemble by removing a small circular clip at the top. See the photo I've attached with arrows. I'm pretty sure the self-tailing ones would disassemble the same way.

Cheers

Re: Meissner Winches

Looks like I was incorrect. I just found this video on Youtube on a Meissner ST.
