Mystery Winch

A friend of mine with a Pacific Seacraft has lost the drum of his small halyard winch, and is trying to find the brand. I've been in the business for a long time, but I'll be darned if I can figure out what this which manufacturer is. I've tried Enkes, Arco, Meissner, Barient, Barlow, and Lewmar to no avail. If it was a Lewmar, I'd say it was a #6. Any ideas? Images here.

Chuck,

Your link leads to a "page not found" error.

Easy to upload images on this site.

Hmmm, not sure what's going on. When I click the link, I go directly to a Picasa page with three images of winches.

My fault. Had not allowed anyone with the link to have permission to see the images. Sorry for the confusion. Chuck

Let's try this one more time. Here's the link in Picasa: Mystery Winch.

Small, bronze, two pawls, roller bearing, six fastener holes.

Re: Mystery Winch

If it was installed by the factory, try calling Thumper at Pacific Seacraft. He will be able to tell you what it is.
