Re: NEED A RIGGER - fly to Outer Banks NC (Please)

Wow such a dramatic and heart wrenching thread. Dare I ask how has it all worked out ? I had exchanged PM's with him because I live here on The Outer Banks, (not the best area for sailboat facilities) it would seem there are several areas better suited and where a good rigger and yard could be found on his journey north. Norfolk, Deltaville, Reedville and then up to Annapolis. I know there are several competent yards in Oriental and a few notable riggers. I'm sure the same is true in Annapolis, I'm sure it starts getting a bit more expensive the further north you get for some reason. Guess what I'm searching for is closure....lol

i’m not allowed to comment on the rigging stuff anymore on the forum. I sent you a PM to answer your questions. . I probably will put up a blog with the guy's name and company and everything now however since I can’t put the anonymous story up here.

But that’s it. I can’t say anything about it. Instructions from the moderators.

Chotu's right: Cruiser's Forum does not accept vendor rants; and he named the vendor in one of his many threads. The owner's position is that such events be worked out outside of this forum.
