Pentex Sail 'Cracked' - Repairs?

I have a very tasty pentex jib which has lasted well , but upon removing it ,yesterday , I inspected it closely , and found a number of "cracks " in it , which if left , will rip . the sail is kevlar re inforced mylar laminate . Is there anything I can do to strengthen these weak areas , I have looked at spinnaker repair tape , which is very good ,in my experience , but think that it will not be tough enough for this job .

Generally, once the fibers have begun degrading (cracking) you have to ask, is the damage caused by local impact damage (i.e. a spinnaker pole slammed into that spot?) or it is the simple aging that will wear and break down the entire sail?

Most often it is the whole sail aging out, and you can chase patch after patch but within a few months, you may find you've spent an incredible amount of time and money and the ugly truth still keeps popping up: The sail probably needs to be replaced.
