Quest for a button type stopper using 1 strand

The challenge is set:

I need an attractive, button type stopper of moderate size using a single strand, with the tail emerging at the base so it can be buried in the standing portion.

Stu, apart from being my mentor, you are our resident ABOK expert. I have had a reasonable but not exhaustive hunt, but can’t find anything in the ABOK. Do you know of such a button?

Juho, you are a whiz at coming up with new buttons. Can you help?

Anyone else up for the challenge?
