Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I talked to a couple of machine shops and the tube was too big for the little guys and the job was apparently too small for the big guys. Most of the small guys were more benders, cutters, and welders and didn't have lathes large enough to hold the old tube. Today I decided to go with a Garhauer boom vang. It oddly enough will cost less than the best quote I got on a repair and it will give me more functionality.
