Re-Rigging a PSC 37

My Crealock 37 cutter is still in the yard undergoing repairs courtesy Hurricane Katrina, but we are getting ready to wrap things up in the next 6 weeks if we ever get the rudder from Pacific Seacraft. I am looking for input on tuning the rig after we set the mast. Anyone familiar with the
PSC 37 able to provide me with a little input?
Also what is the preference in swegeless fittings - Norseman or StaLoc?

Both are a refined science these days. They both have some really nice fittings. Now you just cut the cable clean and square and the wedges do all the rest. Be sure to seal the fittings with sealant when you assemble them. The sealnt should ooze out as you tighten them. You don't want water inside the fitting.

You should be able to get tension settings from the manuafcturer or users group. A guage helps a whole lot too. I heard rule of thumb is 80% of breaking strength. You are not tuning a racing rig. You set the rake and go from there.
