Retrieval of sailing parachute so easy?

If you click on the link in the upper right corner of this website you get to see a leisurely movie about sailing a downwind parachute.

SAILCHUTES HOME

Is the retrieval of the chute at around 3:00 minutes that easy? Or is it actually a launch which is played backwards? The whole video looks so overly relaxed.

Any comments about the use in general is very welcome. I am looking at a surplus g12 parachute but am thinking this might be a little big.

Good eye. It does look like the chute is being sucked back onto the boat with no effort by the crew. Sure enough, if you look at the seas during this shot (at about 2:57) you will notice that they are indeed going backwards. Seems a bit disingenuous, even for youtube.

I have one I bought in Ibiza Hippy Market , its brand new and made of high quality, I’m not sure of the brand as I’m away from the boat at the moment, its multi colors with great hardware that came with it- I’m going to try it out this coming spring
