Rig a dingy lift

Ok riggers, need some help. I downloaded this diagram as a way to rig a one -line lift for my dinghy. I'm trying to get it out of the way in the garage. Anyway, this kinda works, except that it doesn't raise the aft section - I need to give it a push in order to keep things level. Any suggestions - or do I need to go with a 2 line system.
