Rust on bobstay chain plate, IP38

Hello,
I am looking at some used IP38s and trying to assess condition and necessary repairs. I saw one with this rust on the bobstay chainplate (see image), does this shout out for immediate replacement, or is that amount of rust not likely to cause any issue?

Thank you for the input.

To me, that looks like surface rust. However, with oxygen deprivation corrosion, the wasting would have occurred inside the hull, there at the stem where you can't see it. If it were your boat, you might want to remove it and check it. If sea water got in there, in the absence of oxygen, you could have a problem.

It's fine, very normal, just remove the stay and polish it out.
