Seeking Advice Roller Furling halyard swivel.

The halyard swivel. on my roller furling sticks on the bottom Joint.
It slides fine on the top foil but at the joint it sticks and I haven't yet been brave enough to pull it lower.

Last time I climbed a ladder to remove the sail. This wouldn't be an option a float.

If you have solved a similar problem, how did you?

Bend it straight again.

Kinks at joints are common for those who remove their mast seasonally. You try not to do it but it is inevitable. Just loosen your forestay and try to bend back to straight. You might have to undo it from the deck all together and let it hang freely to the side of the boat in order to get enough slack.
