Re: selden jam lever for reefing line

I liked my Forespar rig with no springs. Under tension you set the lever and it holds. If you release it you dont have it grabbing when you dont want. Does the Selden have a way to keep it open?

The same spring holds it open or closed

Re: selden jam lever for reefing line

the half-bushes are the culprits: should have 10mm hole, have 12. This play is enough for the spring to jump out
if I don't manage to get hold of the correct half-bushes (actually I forgot to order them altogether, the french supplier here thought of them, but of the wrong ones).
The frenchie, btw, https://den-ran.com/boutique-la-trinite-sur-mer/ was very good & prompt with all the other parts (& they suffer atrocious french in mails!)
