Should I caulk new Navigation Lights

I just purchased some Sea Choice LED navigation lights and was going to just swap the LED globes and lights out with my current system. However, they are slightly different so I can't swap the pieces out and will need to install the entire fixture. It comes with a rubber gasket, but I'm wondering whether I need to also caulk the fixture as well and if so, what type of sealant I should use?

Pic of the new fixture is below.
