Re: Snapped Boom

There are cracks around welds even in low and non stress areas. Where the sheaves are at the start of the boom for the lines there are separators, and there are cracks around the welds even there....

Re: Snapped Boom

I sent an email to Sparcraft-

After Gill replaced my 15 year old foulies with brand new, even though the problem with them was fairly minor, I started a thread on Cruiser's Forums stating how pleased I was with Gill. Thousands of people read that thread.
Best,
Steve

Maybe it will help, it's true.

Re: Snapped Boom

Do you have Gill's email? Do you have the link to the thread?

Here's the link- http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ies-54625.html
Gill's email- contact@gillna.com
It appears that I exaggerated the number of thread views, it's hundreds rather than thousands. It's not the first mistake that I've ever made.
Hopefully this will help you.

Re: Snapped Boom

Fortunately, I don't work for anybody but Landfall now. Landfall is my boat.
