Stackpack signwriting

Has anyone managed to get lettering (boat name etc) on there stackpack, and if so what did they use?

The guy that made a stackpack says his signwriter got out of the business because the heat transfers were not holding up in the harsh NZ UV sun.

Anyone know whats best?

It does look pretty awful when done wrongly, or fading and falling off. I'm using the same material in a different colour, and sewing it on. That way there can't be an issue with either. Remember to install the stackpack first and then choose the location of the name.

Thats exactly what our old sail cover had (sewed on), but we have moved to a different font, that is more cursive - will be a real bastard to cutout and sew.
