One thing to bear in mind when using swage terminals is: If you botch one, you throw the entire stay/shroud away (unless you can make a shorter one from it) . Any lower shroud wire with a bad swage job is simply junk.

I did mine last spring. Bought wire cut to slightly longer than needed with swages on top. I cut each to length and installed sta-lok fittings on the bottom. Cheap and easy. Used 316 wire from rigging only.

I have stay-lok fittings and wire that might fit your boat look in classified
archive about page 64 for a list.
