If in doubt/curious about the physical specs on G10, look it up on www.Matweb.com
The fella's recommending it aren't lying. It's been a go to in marine racing circles for 2+ decades. And offten is used as a direct replacement for aluminum, especially as it's lighter (less dense if you want to get technical about things)... The catch(es) - it's price, & that it's hard on tools. AKA you'll be resharpening bits & blades a good bit more often than when using "older" materials.
