Stantion mounting

Very surprised to get nothing on a search for this one, maybe A language problem, are they called something else this side of the Atlantic?

Anyway will be fitting new stations, bases an guard wires next trip and they are a perennial problem both with leaks and breakage, just too much leverage! I only have a small toerail not a proper scupper so they are deck mounted. Anyone found a good solution?
