Synthetic rigging blog post for the interested

Below is a link to a post I just made on my blog about changing my standing rigging from Vectran to DM20 Dyneema. Enough pictures and text to explain the method, I hope, without getting overly technical.
As with all things on my boat, this is a work in progress, and some of the fittings are prototypes in testing mode (I already have some improvements and tweaks to make), but overall it's a satisfactory system so far.

Open to comments, rage, hate, and questions.

Didn't compare costs: since it was a custom home-built rig to begin with, and being a gaffer it has a different rigging arrangement than most other 31-foot boats, there's not much to compare it to. I can't remember what I paid years ago for the Colligo deadeyes--they'll have gone up in price like everything else.
I'd say I probably came in at a lot less than paying someone to do it all in wire, but then I haven't bought wire for 20+ years.
