Titanium chainplates

A few years back there was an interesting thread by a guy who worked for a company that fabricated titanium parts.

He suggested replacing stainless chainplates with titanium. and also stated he could do it for a similar price.

I've been looking for the thread, but im on mobile.

I'm in urgent need for replacement chainplate, can anyone, or OP give me a contact?
