What does this do best?

It’s a handle for a plumbing drain auger. Like this

Husky 1/2 in. x 50 ft. Drain Auger 82-971-111

You place the snake into the clogged drain and then slide the handle over the snake and tighten the thumbscrew. Then hold each black handle and use that to turn the snake.

Oh okay gotcha. Makes sense thank you I thought it was something I needed for the boat but couldn't figure it out[emoji2957]

Nah I wouldn't drink it.. Actually I replaced all of the fresh water stuff. I just didn't know what or why that thing was on the boat
