Paul L -- if the dyneema line is too small for the clutch to grab you can beef it up easily -- from the inside.

Mark the line where you need the clutch to grab then thread another length of dyneema inside the hollow braid, just as you would do with the tail of a brummel splice.

Depending on the line/clutch match, you may need to try a couple different diameters of line for the stuffing. Also bear in mind that the stuffed portion of line will be a bit shorter than before. So it may take a couple trials before you have the diameter and location exactly as desired.

I used Buntline on mine on previous boat and held for every season for 10 years... many options though.
