Get it recut so it fits your vessel. Who ever supplied the measurements obviously made a mistake.

How much does it overlap the backstay? Many racers do, but maybe too much?

The photo may be deceptive, but it looks like twin backstays wouldn't be enough. I am reminded of my dad (FRINA) telling me about a boat where they couldn't get the forestay tight enough for comfort. It was discovered that the boat itself wasn't stiff enough, and was bending around the mast
