Whisker pole pin

Any idea were to find a replacement pin? Or any creative ideas what to use instead?

I bought a used whisker pole (very cheap) that the pin corroded so the PO cut it with a grinder. Took me all of 5 minutes to soak the corroded bits with PB Blaster and tap them out with a pin driver (what an idiot the PO must have been).


Pole was made by some company (forget the name) that was purchased and merged with Forespar 15-20 years ago. Called Forespar just in case and they sent me a new pin, spring and all the bits free. Didn't fit the old end perfectly but with some very minor mods it's now good as new.
