Will Merriman Genoa Lead Car Fit on black Schaefer T-Track

The plastic block in my spring-loaded Schaefer genoa lead car keep breaking under load. I assume the flat-top black T-track is Schaefer. Has anyone replaced the Schaefer cars with Merriman lead cars? They are both made for 1.25" track.

I’m surprised anything on a Schaefer lead block would keep breaking under load. Call customer service…they are very responsive and helpful.
I have Schaefer 1 1/4” T track and I’ve used Schaefer, Merriman, and Garhauer lead blocks with no issues.

I believe the Schaeffer lead car blocks are original and the same age as the boat (1979) - 44 years in the direct sun. I am not surprised when the plastic breaks under load. I don't fault Schaeffer for that...
