Winch name

I believe this winch is from Lunenburg Foundry.Does anyone know the name or mechanical advantage?

No idea about the name.


It's hard to tell from that picture, but it appears to be somewhere around 6:1 gearing (looks like about 60 teeth on the big cog and maybe 10 on the small one). Since the crank arm looks to be about 3 times the radius of the spool, at a rough guess, I'd say somewhere around 18:1 mechanical advantage.
