Re: Winter Sail Removable - Why?

So the answer is:

After putting away the boat beginning of Nov to the beginning of April with the mainsail on the boat with its' cover on, and a plastic tarp over that in a tent fashion the sail is; Just Fine.

Re: Winter Sail Removable - Why?

Another winter passed. Another year of leaving the sail on. Another year of the sail being just fine. And this past winter i didn't even put the tarp over it!

Re: Winter Sail Removable - Why?

Yeah, it can be fine. Or it can come out all mildewed, or a rat could build a nest and live in the sail folds, having a litter, eating thru the sail cloth. All just a roll of the dice.
