I have a sock on my big genoa (55 sq m) with one zip.
Most annoying is taking off / putting on the lines - the attachment is quite high, so I need to partially unroll the genny to remove the lines - and if the wind blows, this is not easy

I just bought that ATN Genoa Sleeve mentioned above. I LOVE IT!
Regardless of what foresail I choose to fly, current, or future, I'll never have to sew on a sacrificial sun shield, which also aids in speed, due to the weight and aerodynamic effect of sun shields.
The ATN was surprisingly of great quality, and ease of deployment/removal.
