Avon rub strip replacement

We recently acquired a 2nd hand Avon 2.8 roll up dinghy that was missing the glued on rub strip, apparently this is quite a common issue with these dinghys.
While not an integral part of the tubes I would still like something there to help protect the tubes from abrasion and sharp objects when tied to a dock.
Has anyone found a replacement product at a reasonable price that will stick to the hypalon tubes?
