Bristol Bronze

Does anyone know if Bristol Bronze is still in business? I've been trying for a year to buy a bronze Pearson builder's plate from him (my original plastic one is disintegrating). He was still answering the phone in Jan-Feb, but not since March. Would I have better success if a boatyard called? I'm next to a Zimmerman yard and I know the manager there. BB actually charged me for the plate, but then never shipped it to me. It's not a lot of money, but, sheesh. Anyway, I'm more interested in getting the plate than the cost of it.

Re: Bristol Bronze

I've heard they are difficult to get ahold of. On the Pearson yachts facebook page there is a guy that is making them. His name is Timothy Berlen. They are made of brass though. I think he can make them in SS.

Thanks Gord - I've tried the first email address, but not the second. I'll give it a shot.
