Caframo Ultimate 747/757 Fan Parts

In case you need a new fan motor for your Caframo Ultimate... you can search for part #RS-555SH-20120

There are a few models of 555SH and you need the one that has the drive shaft sticking out the front of the motor by about an inch.

There is a ptc resettable fuse f rx110f 48aj and two resistors (Blue, Brown, Gold, Gold).

The switch is:

The total cost of parts is about $7.

Also, there is a little rubber gasket between the engine and the housing to keep it from rattling. Mine fell out.

I'm having a problem locating the replacement motor 555SH-20120 for the 757 Caframo fan.
Where were you able to purchase them?

Ive just been researching this motor.

It is a Mabuchi RS-555SH-20120. Link to page decoding Mabuchi motor codes:

The first 2 nodes of the code give you all the physical characteristics, except shaft characteristics...which oddly are not included anywhere in the coding, but there are in fact a number of variations.

The last node is winding specifications. I have not been able to find the 20120 version, not even on Mabuchi's site (may be a custom winding for Caframo), but Im searching for other winding versions which would result in a similar speed.

This listing has the correct shaft lenth (19mm), but is a D type shaft, not a round shaft. Winding specs are not given.

Wanted to follow up on motor sourcing - anyone found a source for the 555SH-20210 motors?

I found the information in this thread very useful, particularly the link to the Mabichi Motor designations. However, I have been unable to find an exact replacement for the RS-555SH-20120 motor in the fan. I have found RS-555SH motors but with a different diameter of magnet wire and different number of wire turns. Has anyone had any more luck finding the exact model or with trying other models?
