inflatable boat repair

Our 10' Hydroforce inflatable is coming apart where the transom bonds to the sides after only four years. It's rated for 15 hp but we have a 10 so that isn't the issue. Is this a common problem with this brand? Will 5200 work or do we need the specialized Hypalon two part glue?

Re: inflatable boat repair

Presuming it's hypalon, use the two part hypalon glue. I can walk you through the process. If your dink is PVC, use PVC glue.

The joints need to flex. 5200 is too stiff and might actually crack.
