Mustang inflatable PFD Recharge Kit

Auto Recharge Kit when do u have to change it still reading green dated 2014?

Yeah, it's only intended for life saving purposes anyway. As a diver, I hear this a lot. Most people never service their BCs and regulators, which only function as basic life support equipment. The service life on a canister is probably a conservative recommendation based on some testing and lots of attorneys who want to keep their company from getting sued, so it's your call, but you might want to at least make sure from time to time that the threads on the CO2 cartridge are not corroded. They are no longer used in BCs for this reason. Salt water has a way of doing funny things to metal.

And if the CO2 cartridge does not deploy, it has been found that PFDs have had their little dangly rip cord tucked inside where most people would not be able to find it when needed.
