Re: Nesting Dinghy

I built a Spindrift 10N it rows, sails and motors nicely with a 2 HP Yamaha 2 stroke. I ended up leaving a it assembled most of the time but it is no problem. As a tender it's not stable enough for my liking so I'm going to add inflatable rails a la Walkers.

Re: Nesting Dinghy

Is anyone using a Rib and 'nesting' dinghy? We are going to buy a Cat, and the usual dingy makes sense but I want to sail in some of these places we visit, and have a decent rowing boat too.
I would guess the best place to stow the nest on a cat is foredeck or cabin top, anyone have experience with this.

Re: Nesting Dinghy

No question build a Danny green chameleon. Too many pluses to mention. Sails better than it rows, rows better than it motors, motors at 5 knots with a 3.5 motor.
