New "High Speed" Tender with large capacity!

Of course you would need a REALLY large set of Davits and I wouldnt want to pay the fuel bill to go very far!

Kind of bored today...................

I can't imagine the controls --- 8 throttles, 8 trim buttons, 8 kill switches? I guess the 4 on each side could be combined. Or maybe 3 groups of controls --- the 2 on either outside separate, and the 4 in the middle together. Could really do some donuts with that arrangement.

Went to the ground portion of my Warrant Officer training with an old National Guard guy that had crewed B-36's, according to him it took a whole crew of mechanics a couple of days to clean and gap the plugs, 6 engines, 36 cylinders per engine, 2 plugs per cylinder = 432 spark plugs per airplane, and then there were the other four engines to work on too.

I actually pass by this monstrosity on a regular basis. It makes its home in Sabine Pass on the Texas- Louisiana Border.
