A Danforth plow?

I have an old CQR-like pivoting plow anchor acquired from a friend parting out his Westsail 42. Origin unknown. The shank is stamped with: DANFORTH 60 P USA. Can this REALLY be a Danforth?? I thought they only made flukes.

Apparently Danforth starting making a plow in 1979. Not sure how long they continued it. . . .
