Anchor alarm app for iphone

Upon a quick search of the App Store, I came across several apps for anchor alarm. Which one would you recommend? Do they work without connection to cellular signal?

No cellular service needed.

Another vote for drag queen. Doesn't eat my battery too bad. But a quick look outside in the middle of the night always makes me feel better anyway

INavX has a nice one built in to it if you use it for navigation.

I use Anchor Watch. As I understand it, it's the constant GPS usage that eats the batteries hence the recommendation to keep the phone on charger.
