Anchor chain lengths
Goodday lads and ladies just a quick question. .we have had a windlass installed on our boat so we can use chain instead of rope..my question is how many feet of chain should we install we will be leaving canada this yr.crossing alantic then up into the med..so what is the average length of anchor chain required for this area..we are considering 200 feet but not sure if we are going to require this much..thanks for ant imput...cheers..
