If I can snag a couple of jet skis that would be a bonus .

Your warning about the underwater float is a valid one. This sort of float cannot be seen by other skippers coming into the anchorage so it is important that the float is well below any level where it could be snagged by another boat. In practice in the usual sort of anchoring depth I use this is not a problem.

If I anchor in shallow water I usually just clip the float to the roll bar with a cable tie, but you can untie the whole float if desired. In shallow water the anchor is easier to find so the underwater float is less important anyway.
