Different boats different needs

Try tying a rolling hitch 13mm chain with 20mm 3 strand nylon.

Ahh, the claim of an expert I have never had my snubber" fall off", always set so the snubber cannot drag on the bottom and has sufficient chain hanging in a loop twixt snubber and cleat. I use a simple load chain hook.

After several hooks and shackles of different style we are now happy with the kong chain gripper.
No issues to report after 2 years and about 200 nights at anchor.
