Changing the anchor on my 39c 2007 sailboat

Hello.

I want to change my CQR. I would like to have a manson supreme or rocna instead of it. Is there anyone out there changed the anchor of a Bavaria 39C 2007? What I am concerned about is that the new anchor might not fit well. I don't want to be in that situation where I would have to cut or drill things and have a not very satisfying outcome in terms of the looks.

Or would you recommend another anchor that fits well and easy? What I know is that I want to upgrade my anchor to a better design because I think it would make a difference.

Thank you!!

Welcome to CF kolistavra,
I think it's a good plan to change from CQR. Personally I hate CQR's, find them really hard to set. You should be able to get a store to let you try the anchor you want to see if it fits. Failing that ask someone in a marina who has one.

Good idea to upgrade. Almost all new gen anchor websites have dimensions. Depending on how your head works (artist vs. engineer), you can use a ruler or make a mock up. Good luck.
