Island Packet Windlass Setup

I've been looking at Island Packets and have a question on the windlass setup - photo below. I've searched for information on this but haven't found anything.

For the secondary anchor on the port side of the anchor roller, how is it able to utilize the windlass? There doesn't seem to be a fairlead from there to the gypsy. And how would the anchor chain feed into the locker, capped to the port as well.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but its been bugging me.

I don’t have an IP, but I’d bet the secondary anchor is mostly rhode, you either hand over hand pull it and dump down the chain pipe, or use the wildcat the pull I ln the rhode and dump into the hole.

Often the secondary is mostly rope rode. Two full chain rodes would be a lot of weight. You wrap it around the windlass drum to use it if necessary. The chain stopper on the chain rode holds it, or the snubber.
