Re: Lewmar Pro 1000h Windlass slipping clutch

This is my 2nd. Profish 1000. I will probably replace it with a Loftrans next time I get the inclination. I dont think the Lewmars are heavy duty enough. I am always having little problems with it.
I use the up button and the clutch tightens itself and I figured out how to deploy correctly by reversing till the button hits the ramp and loosens the clutch. I don't understand why the motor is stuck when I go to use it again.
