Marks on Galv of New Anchor - Issue?

Just got myself a new M1 Anchor and noticed that there are some marks on the Galv on the shank - Galv is still there, but it not pristine like the rest of the anchor and is also not as smooth.

Just wanted to get an idea if this is an issue or not and would this area be prone to rust?

Pretty hard to get a good picture, but have done my best.

I would contact Mantus directly and include the pics in the correspondence. We all have varying degrees of tolerance for perceived imperfections but I feel every product should be cosmetically and functionally perfect when new.

I have bought several products from Mantus over the years and each has been extremely well suited to purpose.

Should be fine, but I am curious why there is pitting. I'd like to know what Mantus says about that.

Got a response from Mantus - Basically said give it a try and if I have any rust issues, then they will replace.

looks like someone grabbed the shank with a gloved hand while the zinc wasn't dry

I doubt those marks will make any difference. I have a Mantus M1 in use since 2012 and it is still almost rust free, except for a tiny bit of rust on the very point.
