New Anchor Bridle

I am about to make an anchor bridle for my 40' power cat. 14mm 3 strand nylon, to be secured to bollards on stern, lead along deck and run thru guides on bow of each hull, extra length = extra stretch. Any ideas for splice or junction to attach chain hook in centre? Total rope length is abt 40-45 m. Regards BK

Re: New Anchor Bridle

Make it a single length and use a cow hitch in the middle for the hook. That extra stretch is going to make chafing worse on the bow guides, so make sure you take care of that.

Re: New Anchor Bridle

Maybe I'm missing something. Why would you run the legs of the bridle all the way back to the stern? Isn't there a place on the bows to attach the legs?
