Old ABI Windlass Help Needed

I have a boat (1980 Hans Christian 38) that has an old ABI electric windlass. It's part bronze, part steel. I have two things I could use help with:

1. How do I use this windlass manually? I've got the handle but can't figure out how to use it the old fashioned way.

2. The chain stripper broke off a while back. Does anyone know where you can get a replacement? I've spent a fair amount of time looking...
