Primary 70m of 10mm G40 chain + 100m of 16mm Octoplait nylon.

Seconary 10m of 10mm G40 + 100m of 16mm 3 strand nylon.

I dont have a secondary anchor because I dont think they are useful.

My main anchor is a Delta with 100 meters 10mm chain, thats 330 feet

Kedge anchor, Brittany (!) with 15 meters chain, 40 meters(?) rope. Last time I saw it was months ago, last time I used it was 2 years and 20,000nms ago...

primary--194 ft chain with 30kg bruce, original. i love security.

secondary--250 ft chain with 45 pound cqr....hail mary....

third---danforth with rope rode, and
4th -- yachtsman/fisherman/herreschoff foldable pos with all rope also.


the 3 and 4 are for kedging off a shoal in emergencies only...past hail mary.

seatoad isnt inmost of world, nor is boatscrewus nor vessel adrift.....so count on self.
is also good ballast in my heavy yet too light boat.

Primary 45kg Ultra Anchor with 100 meters of 1/2 inch (12mm) chain & snubber. The boat isn't going anywhere with that set up. Secondary, a Fortress 55 with 10 ft of chain and 100 ft of 1.5 inch heavy rope. Third, a 75 pound Lewmar CQR in the wings and 12 kg Ultra for the stern.

If the primary gets stuck, I've got the scuba gear to go down and fetch it.

Primary Rode: 275' of 5/16" HT chain + 250' 3/4" nylon 3-strand

Secondary Rode: 275' 5/16" HT chain + 200' 3/4" nylon 3-strand

Heavy Kedge/Stern Rode: 20' of 5/16" HT chain + 150' 5/8" nylon 3-strand

Light Kedge Rode: 15' 1/4" HT chain + 100' 1/2" dacron 3-strand

Primary & Secondary Anchors (depending on bottom): 45 pound Manson Supreme, Fortress FX55, 60 pound Bruce

Light Kedge Anchor: Danforth Standard 15

Storm Anchor: Guardian 125

42 foot Catalina

Primary: 45 lb. manson supreme, 150 feet of 5/16 chain and 250 feet of 3/4" nylon line

Secondary 33 lb CQR, 45 feet of 5/16 chain and 250 feet of 3/4 nylon line.

Third: 22 pound Danforth, 20 feet of 5/16 chain and 250 feet of 3/4 nylon line. (kept in stern locker).
