I know a while back they cleaned up problems with bums on derelict boats in those areas, but I see boats anchored there all the time. That would seem to be a reasonable solution for a Seattleite who wants to live on the hook.

I anchored in Appletree cove for 3 months last summer, you can see my boat on google earth. Only one time did i have a police boat get near me. He drove past about 20 feet from my bow and kept going. I assume he was checking for my registration sticker. Nice place to anchor with plenty of crab and town a short walk away.

Actually Tami the harbourmaster there doesn't really bother you as long as you obey the DNR 30 day rules
