Try a Prusik Knot (Triple Sliding Hitch).

O boy , this is getting out of hand , and it all started so innocent

I know about this system , but there's also alot of line floating around here.
And that's exactly what I would like to avoid.

you're right concerning the sterilisation of anchorages , large/hugh scope with anchorbuoy is a serious limitation. But I do tend to take the weather forecast into the equation before trowing my anchor buoy overboard , scope-wise that is.
